CVG Convergens is committed to minimizing the negative environmental and social impacts of our operations and to abiding by all applicable and relevant national and international environmental laws and regulations.


RoHS

CVG Convergens is aware of and supports the European Union’s RoHS2 Directive 2011/65/EU. CVG Convergens is able to provide information and documentation about components when made available to us by the manufacturers regarding the material content of the components used in our products or the manufacturing processes used to make these components.

We are actively surveying our suppliers for their compliance with the REACH Regulation.


REACH

CVG Convergens is aware of and supports the European Union’s REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006). CVG Convergens is able to provide information and documentation when made available to us by the manufacturers regarding the material content of the components used in our products or the manufacturing processes used to make these components.

 

We are actively surveying our suppliers for their compliance with the REACH Regulation.


Conflict Minerals

CVG Convergens is aware of the Dodd-Frank Consumer Protection Act, Section 1502 regarding Conflict Minerals. Conflict Minerals include the following minerals sourced from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries:

  • Casserite (Tin)

  • Columbite-Tantalite (Tantalum)

  • Wolframite (Tungsten)

  • Gold

We are able provide the Conflict Free Sourcing Initiative Conflict Mineral Reporting Templates (CFSI CMRTs) when made available by the component manufacturers.

 

CVG Convergens is unable to make any claims of material content regarding the product another company manufactures or to certify to the CFSI CMRT. We are actively surveying our suppliers for their compliance with the Dodd-Frank Consumer Protection Act, Section 1502.

​Manufacturer Responsibility (WEEE)

CVG Convergens is aware of and complies with its manufacturer responsibility obligations. The objective of the legislation on WEEE is to reduce the amount of WEEE generated and to promote the reuse, recycling and recovery of WEEE. We are a member of the ICT Producer Co-operative.

Eco-design

CVG Convergens is aware of and complies with the European Union Eco-design Directive 2009/125 / EC. The aim of the Eco-design Directive for energy-related products is to reduce the environmental impact of products and, in particular, to improve their energy efficiency. The Directive contributes to sustainable development, the level of protection of the environment and security of energy supply.
